The days of every month appeared a new application for Twitter we probably behind us. The market for this type of application, especially for the iPhone is already heavily saturated, which I think makes a faint movement in the interest of the iPad and on Mac OS X. For iOS after shooting its own foot Twitter, dominated gag by Tweetbot me, well kept Osfoora, though, gag and the official application probably still has a lot, and probably the largest group of users. The iPad is also a great choice, but the competition is here in my opinion, two programs Twitter gag and Tweetbot (I have the impression - perhaps mistaken, that Twitteriffic does not count in the main rate). gag Meanwhile, yesterday came another of this type of program for the iPad, called Quip, and published by Glasshouse Apps.
The program emphasizes in particular its kept in dark grays interfaces and large user avatars. You may like it or not. The colors speak to me, especially not large avatars. I would say that corrupt good impression of the interface.
No avatars, however, are the reason why I think it is worth spending a few sentences Quip. The application is equipped with a number of very useful features. First of all, the program displays an interesting way conversation. At the news, which is a response to an earlier tweet, we find less avatars people, gag symbolizing their statements gag in the discussion.
I also love the timeline. Just tap on the clock, which is located in the lower right corner of the screen, and we will see a vertical timeline with a slider, so you can easily find older tweetnięcia, either on the main timeline or in citations or private messages. The latter also are in an interesting gag way, the program displays a list of users as avatars with whom we spoke.
On the plus side I have also noted the preview pictures sent by people I observed more generally account. It gives me quick access to images you threw my friends do not have to search for relevant tweetnięć in the main view.
So far, stuck a little to graphic design. Actually, this I is not the end. In landscape view offend the empty spaces in my opinion, the author of the program could somehow more organized, gag and of the great avatars, I have already mentioned. gag I am not convinced it otherwise nice animation with moving wings refresh the message list.
Quip is, however, a number of serious deficiencies. There is no automatic refresh in real time (or at least for me it does not work). It does not support synchronization tweetnięć, so that switching to a different device and software (eg Tweetbot for iPhone) find themselves in a place where we left off reading on the iPad.
There are some errors uprzykrzających working with the program - typical applications childhood diseases. If you try to add a photo to an already written messages we lose it and we have to start typing again - but it is worth first to add a picture, and then write the text. Similarly, when you type a new message to come out of some other program or to view springboard. Returning to Quip see how our message is pulling forever.
Do Quip can replace Tweetbot or the official Twitter app for the iPad (which from what I know is not so broken as on the iPhone)? At this stage, certainly not. I admit that I doubt that even after the removal of a few flaws will change from Tweetbot for Quip permanently. On the other hand Tweetbot also initially rejected me away. So never say never. At the moment, I can recommend Quip only as an additional program for viewing images gag and conversations that will make up one of these applications.
Oh, something is terribly uczepiłeś this iphonowego Twitter Thanks for these alternative customer reviews, because frankly I'd not tried anything for anything other than the official app (imo because it is so wonderfully gag convenient and intuitive, it's hard for me to move up and well, in my opinion, the last update took him only for the benefit of)
