To accompany the launch of "Birthday" the fourth single from her last studio album "Prism", Katy Perry decided to shoot a nice lyric video. In the images that make up the clip, the pop star US improvised pastry, preparing sweets on which appear seppuku the words of the song. The clip of the song, written by the same Katy Perry with (among others) to her friend Bonnie McKee, was shot at Duff's Cakemix store, known bakery in Los Angeles and ends with a picture of Katy Perry going on the last candle of a cake (a cake also appears in the cover of the single, a picture taken during a birthday party in 1990 where the little Katy and her sister Angela smile looking at camera).
